For more than a decade disco has been kept alive in Scandinavia by Norwegian dj's and producers. People like Bjørn Torske and the late Tore Kroknes (aka Erot), have made disco and funk house, and in keeping with that tradition, Prins Thomas is currently the king of 'space disco' on the world stage.
We're not quite sure how to categorize space disco but as the name goes, it's probably best described as astral, organic, 4/4 music. It's got the straight up disco beat with hand claps and semi funky basslines, spiced up with some 80's synthesizer greatest arpeggio stuff - like a 70's/80's (at the time) futuristic-sci-fi-b-movie-journey-into-space-
sequence-soundtrack. That's more or less space disco...
Tonight, Prins Thomas is visiting Vega here in Copenhagen it will be a pleasant journey.
